Fiona Harvey, MPH

Fiona Harvey, MPH has worked in a variety of roles in the health and wellness field. In 2021, they began their current role as Wellness Program Manager at Active Plus, where they are responsible for spearheading all programming and product development from start to completion. From 2019-2021, they worked at FORWARD__Space as a Social Media Manager and Front of House Team. From 2016-2019, they were a Community Health Educator/Interim Community Health Coordinator at Queens Library. In 2015, they were a Zumba Fitness Instructor. From 2013-2015, they were the Director of Education and Social Media and Marketing Manager at Active Plus. In 2013, they were a Student Orientation and Admissions Leader and MPH Candidate at New York University. Finally, in 2011, they were a Disease Intervention Specialist/Public Health Associate at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Fiona Harvey, MPH has a Master of Public Health from New York University and a B.A. in English and Black Studies from SUNY Geneseo. Fiona has also obtained certifications from the American Red Cross (Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, 2016), Zumba (Zumba Instructor License, 2015), Florida Health (Introduction to Sexually Transmitted Diseases Intervention (ISTDI), 2012 and HIV/AIDS 500/501 Counseling, Testing and Referral Services Course, 2011).
