Elaine Wang

Elaine Wang began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In 2012, they took on the role of Outreach Worker at Berkeley Builds Capacity. In 2013, they joined My Doctor Medical Group as a Medical Assistant, where they coordinated patient care, vitals, lab tests, injections and helped design work flows, patient contracts, implement treatment programs, and other various projects. In 2017, they moved to Forward, where they held the positions of Business Operations Analyst, Expansion Operations, and Clinical Operations. As Business Operations Analyst, they built and scaled an inventory management platform, gathered, analyzed, and evaluated financial data, and drove consumables costs down 30% in 2020 by improving onsite inventory processes, decreasing breakage, and negotiating with third party vendors. As Expansion Operations, they managed multiple timelines on the end-to-end real estate pipeline and created structured processes to interface successfully with a variety of teams.

Elaine Wang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Prior to that, they attended Cupertino High School from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Elaine Wang has a certification as a Certified Enrollment Counselor for Covered California.
