Thierry Lattanzio

Thierry Lattanzio has a diverse work experience in the glass industry spanning over 23 years. Thierry began their career at CEDEST, where they worked as a Quality Engineer for Cements and Road Binding Agents from 1991 to 1992, and later as a Sales-Technical Engineer for Road Binding Agent from 1993 to 1994.

In 1994, Lattanzio joined Guardian Industries as a Supervisor, responsible for managing a team of operators. Thierry then took on the role of Process Engineer from 1998 to 2002 before becoming a Project Engineer for a brief period in 2003. From 2003 to 2009, they served as a Production Assistant Manager and Process Manager, playing a significant role in plant start-ups, optimising operating specifications, and implementing environmental initiatives.

Lattanzio moved to Fosbel Inc. in 2009 and worked as an Engineer Project Manager, providing technical support and expertise for furnace maintenance and repairs in Europe, CIS, Middle East, and AsPac regions until 2012. Thierry then returned to Guardian Industries as a Regional HEAT Manager Europe, where they provided technical support, process improvement, and troubleshooting for float lines globally. Thierry'sexpertise also included overseeing float furnaces' cold repairs and rebuilds.

From 2015 to 2017, Lattanzio worked as the Technical Director at LTT Group / Lizmontagens SA, showcasing their leadership skills and technical expertise. After a period of actively seeking new opportunities in the industry, Lattanzio joined Fosbel Inc. again in 2018 as a Project Manager Glass, delivering technical support, managing specific hot repairs worldwide, and implementing new technical solutions.

In October 2019, Lattanzio advanced to the role of Operations Manager Glass Americas at Fosbel Inc., responsible for overseeing operations in the region. As of December 2020, they hold the position of Business Unit Director Glass Americas at Fosbel Inc., showcasing their growth and leadership in the company.

Thierry Lattanzio's education history begins in 1984, when they enrolled at Université de Nancy 1 for a Maîtrise degree in Chimie-Physique. Thierry completed this program in 1988. From 1988 to 1990, Lattanzio attended École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie Toulouse, where they pursued an engineering degree in Chemical/Process. During the same period, they also pursued a Diplôme Etude Approffondie in Sciences des Matériaux from the same institution.
