Lisa Marie Pillette attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a BA in English. In 2010, they briefly enrolled at NYU-SCPS for creative writing. Prior to their university studies, they completed their high school education at Friends Seminary from 1986 to 1989.
