Steven W Sorensen

Steven W Sorensen is an expert in venture capital, corporate finance and AI / ML investments. He serves as director, Corporate Finance at dropp group | droppLabs and is a board director. In 2021-22, he participated in a 15M Series A for web3 dropp group | droppLabs and led the Series B1 and later IPO financing roadmap in 2023. He has capital markets experience with hedge funds, fund of funds, and family offices on raising capital from US and Chinese investors, and led investors relations for investments from US, China, Korea, Qatar & Saudi Arabia.

Steven has intensive training in financial modeling, private equity, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investments banking and as a board director. In 2022, he conducted M&A transaction due diligence and execution of a 25M acquisition by dropp group. Steven is an active investors and board director of an aerospike rocket company.

Steven has a BA in English from John Carroll University, an MA from The University of Hong Kong, with a two-year post-graduate certificate in Mandarin, and courses in M.Sc in Management and Information Systems from NYU.  He also earned his M.Phil in 2010.
