Willem Kesteloo

Willem Kesteloo has a diverse work experience. Willem is currently serving as the CEO of FOTONIQ since 2023. Previously, they held multiple roles at PHYSEE Technologies, including CEO PARPLUS from July 2021 to January 2023, CTO from November 2020 to January 2022, CTO and Interim CFO from April 2020 to November 2020, CFO and Interim CTO from October 2019 to March 2020, and CFO from January 2016 to December 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded PHYSEE Technologies in July 2014 and served as the Co-founder until January 2016.

Additionally, Willem Kesteloo has held positions outside the company, including Chairman of the Board at EYES from July 2019 to December 2021 and Board Member from January 2017 to June 2019. Willem also served as a Global Shaper for the Global Shapers Community, a network of local groups led by young people driven to make a positive contribution to their communities, from January 2017 to December 2019.

Furthermore, they gained experience as an Investment Banking Intern at Lazard in April 2014, Regional Director Europe at Collegiate Energy Association from September 2012 to December 2013, Summer Intern at Fugro from July 2013 to October 2013, and Team Member at Stichting International Research Projects Delft from December 2012 to October 2013. Willem also worked as a Business Management Intern at Eneco from February 2013 to May 2013 and served as the Chairman of The Energy Club, Delft Energy Initiative from December 2011 to January 2013.

Willem Kesteloo has a diverse education history. Willem completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Visiting Scientist in the Molecular Biophysics field at the Kowalczykowski lab at the University of California. Willem then pursued their Honours Programme Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Willem has obtained two certifications. In July 2017, they completed the "Entrepreneurial Finance" certification at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance. Prior to that, in June 2017, they obtained the "Foundations of Finance" certification from the same institution.
