Emba Alessandro Berti

Alessandro Berti has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on sustainability and strategic advisory roles. Alessandro currently serves as the Managing Director - Germany at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV). Prior to this, they worked as a Sustainability Strategic Advisor. From 2013 to 2021, Berti held the position of CEO Madagascar at Tozzi Green S.P.A., where they successfully developed and managed renewable energy projects, including hydroelectric and solar plants. Alessandro also implemented processes to ensure compliance with ESG and IFC PS criteria. Before that, they held various roles at IP - Gruppo api and api nova energia S.r.l., where they were responsible for international business development and the development of the international renewable energy strategy. Alessandro started their career as a Modern Pentathlon Athlete at Athlion roma. Berti has a strong background in project management, business development, and biomass energy.

Alessandro Berti, EMBA, has a diverse educational background. Alessandro obtained their Executive MBA from IESE Business School between 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, they completed a MASTER RIDEF in Renewable Energies at Politecnico di Milano from 2004 to 2005. Alessandro'sundergraduate education was at Sapienza Università di Roma, where they earned a University degree in Economia e Commercio from 1998 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Alessandro Berti has also obtained certifications in English proficiency. Alessandro holds a C2 Proficiency certification from Cambridge Assessment English, which they obtained in December 1999. Alessandro also achieved a B2 First certification from the same institution in October 1998.
