Jj Ferrandis

JJ Ferrandis has a wealth of experience in the renewable energy industry. Starting in 1996, they worked as an Administrative Officer for GIO grupoingest outsourcing until 2000. From 2002 to 2005, they held the position of Design Manager at Schneider Electric. They then joined solarcentury and worked as a Design Engineer from 2006 to 2007 before being promoted to Engineering and Project Manager for Spain, a position they held until 2010. In 2010, they became a Product Manager at Danfoss A/S (Solar Inverters) until 2013. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Todae Solar and held the role of PV Design Engineer before being promoted to Head of Engineering. Following that, they worked at UGL as a Solar Integration Engineer from 2018 to 2019 and as a Lead Solar Engineer from 2018 to 2021. Most recently, they held the position of Head of Technical Sales & Delivery Engineering at 5B from 2021 to 2023, and are currently serving as the Head of EPC and Technical Development at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV).

JJ Ferrandis has a diverse education history, starting with their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering, which was obtained from Universitat Jaume I. This degree was earned between 1997 and 2001. They also participated in an Erasmus Student Placement program at The University of Salford in 2001, where they studied Product Design. Additionally, JJ pursued further education at Universidad Europea, where they completed a Superior Industrial Engineer - Executive degree in Engineering from 2009 to 2011.

In terms of additional certifications, JJ obtained the Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and National Engineering Register (NER) certifications from Engineers Australia in June 2020. They also obtained a certification in SketchUp 2013 from lynda.com in January 2014. Furthermore, JJ has an ongoing involvement with TAFE NSW, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology in Electrical, although the specific dates of this program are not provided.
