William Toon-Cortez

William Toon-Cortez has worked as a Resource Program Specialist at CITE California IT in Education from July 2021 to June 2023. In this role, they supported and managed various resource programs, traveled around the state to share information on the California Student Privacy Alliance and the CITE & Microsoft Strategic Alliance for licensing, and provided excellent service to LEAs and members. William then joined the Foundation for California Community Colleges in June 2023 as a Program Specialist, Technology & Special Projects, and later became a Program Specialist, Technology Solutions in July 2023. No end dates are provided for these roles.

William Toon-Cortez obtained their Bachelor's degree from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. In 2004 and 2005, they embarked on a Study Abroad program at the University of Birmingham, specializing in American Studies.
