Cleo Paskal

Cleo Paskal serves as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow for the Indo-Pacific at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies since August 2019 and has been a columnist for The Sunday Guardian since 2016. Current roles include Adjunct Fellow at both the Conference of Defence Associations Institute and Pacific Forum, as well as Fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. Additional affiliations include serving on the International Advisory Board for the Global Counter Terrorism Council, holding the position of Senior Fellow at Usanas Foundation, and being a Collaborator with RAS/NSA. Paskal has been an Adjunct Professor of Global Change with SCMS since 2005 and was a Visiting Fellow at Université de Montréal from September 2015 to June 2024, participating in a research project focused on strategic shifts in the Indo-Pacific.
