Elaine Dezenski has an extensive work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Elaine worked at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies from 2014, where they served as the Senior Director and Head of the Center on Economic and Financial Power. Prior to that, they were a Senior Advisor at the same organization starting from November 2014. In 2015, they founded and became the Managing Partner of LumiRisk LLC. Additionally, they served as an Advisor and Investor at Blank Slate Technologies starting from May 2021.
Elaine Dezenski also worked at Yale University as a Senior Fellow and Lecturer from October 2017 to January 2020. Elaine held positions at the World Economic Forum, serving as the Senior Director and Head of the Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) from August 2012 to June 2015. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of the Risk Response Network from July 2010 to August 2012.
Elaine also worked at INTERPOL as the Managing Director of the Global Security Initiative from June 2008 to September 2009. Earlier in their career, they were the Senior Vice President of Global Government Affairs at Cross Match Technologies, Inc. from September 2006 to June 2008.
Elaine Dezenski has also held positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Elaine served as the Deputy and Acting Assistant Secretary for Policy Development from October 2004 to April 2006. Before that, they were the Director of Maritime, Cargo, and Trade Policy at the Border and Transportation Security Directorate from January 2004 to October 2004.
Elaine Dezenski completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations at Wheaton College Massachusetts from 1988 to 1992. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Management, specializing in Public Policy, at Georgetown University from 1995 to 1998.
