Elizabeth Robbins • APR, PMP has held various roles throughout their career. Elizabeth is currently working as the Vice President of Communications at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Independent Communications Consultant at Cameron Street Strategies from January 2021. Elizabeth also served as the Senior Fellow in National Security Affairs at the American Foreign Policy Council from December 2021 to May 2022.

In their previous role at the U.S. Department of State, Elizabeth served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Global Public Affairs from November 2020 to December 2020. Before that, they were the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Global Public Affairs from February 2019 to November 2020.

Elizabeth also has experience working at AIPAC, where they held the position of National Director of Communications from March 2015 to December 2018. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager at Duty First Consulting from February 2014 to February 2015.

Earlier in their career, Elizabeth worked at the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Spokesperson on Budget, Sequestration, and Business Practices from September 2011 to January 2014. Elizabeth also served as a Spokesperson on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asia from May 2010 to September 2011.

Elizabeth's career includes roles at Headquarters, Department of the Army as a Public Affairs Officer to the Secretary of the Army from March 2009 to April 2010, and at Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers as the Deputy Director of Public Affairs from July 2008 to March 2009.

Elizabeth's work experience also includes a role at Multi-National Force Iraq, where they served as a Public Affairs Advisor and Executive Officer to Chief, Strategic Effects from May 2007 to May 2008.

Elizabeth Robbins has a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree in International Relations, Communications, and Media from Duke University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Elizabeth also completed the Public Affairs Officer Qualification Course as an Honor Graduate at the Department of Defense Information School (DINFOS). In addition to their academic degrees, Robbins obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2014. Elizabeth also holds the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), which they received in May 2014.
