Thomas Pledger

Thomas Pledger currently serves as Branch Chief at U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) since June 2023 and is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Joint Special Operations University since July 2022. Additionally, Pledger holds the position of National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and has served as a Joint Operations Planner for Special Operations Command Africa until June 2023. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at the National Guard Bureau and as an Army Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University.
