Maria Klapa

Maria Klapa is a highly accomplished individual with a background in Chemical Engineering. Maria has held various important positions such as Research Director and Principal Researcher at Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), Head of Metabolic Engineering & Systems Biology Laboratory at FORTH/ICE-HT, and Adjunct Associate Professor at University of Maryland, College Park. Maria has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Diploma of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
