Pawel Kaminski

Pawel Kaminski is the Co-founder and CTO at Founder and Lightning, a position they have held since 2015. Prior to that, they were the CTO at citysocializer from 2012 to 2015. During their time at citysocializer, Pawel was responsible for building and managing onsite and remote technical team including ROR developers, QA, designers and mobile developers. Pawel used an agile/kanban process to deliver the CEO vision into reality, advised on functionalities and resources requirements. Pawel also lead a team of developers, designers and business analysts in the biggest platform rewrite in company history from PHP to Ruby on Rails API and Backbone.js front-end. In addition, they were responsible for daily execution of agile processes (SCRUM), moving towards Kanban/Lean, helping the CEO understand technical challenges, process and opportunities that IT can deliver, moving towards multiple daily production deploys to deliver value to customers to learn and gather feedback as fast as possible, introducing continuous deployment and development, code review process, introducing Kanban, and Theory of constraints as part of business processes, and introducing a new QA proces, test automation, new definition of "done" and collaboration.

Pawel Kaminski has a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.

They are on a team with Jim Shirley - CFO, Daniel Christey - Co-founder & Group Director, and Paula Jago - Managing Director. Pawel Kaminski reports to Matt Jonns, Founder & CEO.
