Shaherose Charania

Shaherose Charania is a seasoned venture partner at Cake Ventures since June 2023, focusing on seed and pre-seed investments in companies addressing demographic shifts. Currently serving as a podcast host for First Funders and a founding partner at DVC, Shaherose has built a diverse investment collective. Previously at Nike from January 2018 to June 2023, Shaherose held multiple senior director roles within Valiant Labs, where responsibilities included establishing sustainability insights and guiding early-stage innovation. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. Shaherose also co-founded Women 2.0, a pioneering media company for women founders, and has served on the boards of organizations like Good World Solutions and Hacker Dojo.
