Victor Sabarly

Victor Sabarly has a wealth of experience in data science and analytics. Victor began their career in 2006 as a Ph.D. Researcher at INSERM/INRA/CEA, where they conducted statistical analysis of biological big data to understand and model the metabolic diversity in bacterial species. Victor then moved on to Profilomic in 2011, where they served as Lead Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, developing biostatistical tools and data processing pipelines. In 2013, Sabarly co-founded Omics Services, a consultancy offering data analysis solutions for life sciences. In 2015, they joined Vendo as Head of Analysts, leading a team of data scientists, developing real-time predictive machine learning models, and collaborating with product managers and business teams. In 2018, they took on the role of Data Scientist - Fraud Lead at Pagantis, supervising data scientists to develop machine learning models, performing network analysis, and defining fraud-related KPIs. In 2021, Sabarly joined FIRALIS S.A. as Director of Data Science, and they are currently the Head of Data Science at FounderNest, augmenting the scouting power of the most innovative corporations in the world with AI.

Victor Sabarly obtained an Engineer's Degree in Statistics and Informatics from \u00c9cole Polytechnique between 2002 and 2006. Victor then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Life Sciences from Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 in 2006. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology, Bioinformatics and Data Mining from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2007 and 2010.
