Senior Vice President Information Technology at Founders Federal Credit Union

Amanda Owens, CISM, CDPSE has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Amanda began their career at Founders Federal Credit Union in 1996 as a System Infrastructure/IT-GRC Manager. After holding this position for almost 20 years, Amanda transitioned to the role of AVP-IT/Information Security Officer in 2015. In 2019, they were promoted to Vice President - IT Infrastructure & Security and held this position until early 2022. Amanda then served as the Vice President of Information Technology for a year before being promoted to their current role as Senior Vice President Information Technology. Alongside their work at Founders Federal Credit Union, Amanda also works as an Information Technology Consultant at Founders Innovative Technology since 2020.

Amanda Owens, CISM, CDPSE, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of South Carolina, which they obtained from 1998 to 2003. In 2014, they attended the NAFCU Management and Leadership Institute. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from ISACA: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) in March 2017 and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) in May 2020.
