Steffan Stringer

Steffan Stringer has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steffan started their career at Simbec Research Ltd in 1988, working as a Clinical Research Technician and later becoming a Project Leader in Quality Assurance. Steffan then joined Covance in 1991 and held various roles including Senior Quality Assurance Officer, Head of Quality Assurance, and Operations Manager. At Covance, they managed a team of over 100 staff and was responsible for maintaining a flexible and highly trained workforce for conducting Phase I trials. In 2000, Steffan joined PAREXEL as the Phase I Operations Director, where they led a team to deliver high-quality clinical research and managed the transition of the unit into a profitable Phase I CRO. Steffan also held the roles of Unit Head in Baltimore and Worldwide Head of Clinical Data Services at PAREXEL. In 2010, Steffan joined Alacrita Consulting as an Associate, where they focused on Clinical Research and Life Sciences consulting. Steffan then returned to Alwyn Consulting in 2009 as a Principal Consultant, specializing in Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and project management in GCP environments. In 2014, Steffan briefly worked at OmniComm Systems as the Director of Early Phase Consulting before joining Alwyn Consulting again in 2015 as a Principal Consultant. Their most recent work experience is at Foundry Health, where they served as the Director of Customer Services and later as the Operations Director, supporting the deployment of ClinSpark, an eSource/early phase trial automation solution.

Steffan Stringer attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1984 to 1987 where they obtained a BSc Jt Hons degree in Zoology and Genetics. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a PRINCE2® Practitioner certification in November 2013 from the APM Group.
