Robert Shannon

Robert Shannon, ACA has a diverse work experience. Robert is currently serving as the Head of Commercial Finance at Foundry, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sage as an FP&A Senior Manager from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they managed a team and was responsible for producing financial reports for the Board and Finance Leadership team. Robert also provided financial analysis for quarterly results announcements and collaborated with non-finance stakeholders.

Before joining Sage, Robert worked at Foundry as a Commercial Finance Manager from 2020 to 2021. Robert handled budgeting, forecasting, and provided financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Robert started their career at KPMG, where they held various roles from 2016 to 2020. Robert worked as a Manager in FS M&A and FS TS divisions. Robert also served as an Assistant Manager in FS TS.

Prior to KPMG, Robert worked at PwC as an Assurance Senior Associate from 2012 to 2016. Robert specialized in the Insurance and Investment Management division.

In addition to their corporate experience, Robert also completed an internship at IMG, where they served as The Open Championship (Golf) Sponsorship Intern in 2012.

Robert Shannon, ACA completed their education at the University of St Andrews from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Modern History. Prior to this, they attended Sevenoaks School from 2001 to 2008.
