Nia Wallace

Nia Wallace is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in social services and event entertainment. Currently serving as a Disk Jockey at Beat Train NYC since June 2023, Nia specializes in weddings and corporate events. As a Mental Health Social Practitioner at Fountain House since September 2021, Nia focuses on supporting individuals with mental illness through specialized social practices. Previous roles include serving as a Habilitation Specialist at QSAC, where Nia worked with individuals with autism, and internships at Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement and Hempstead Hispanic Civic Assn, providing community support and advocacy. Nia has also managed dining services in dementia and assisted living units at Sunrise Senior Living. Nia holds a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham Graduate School of Social Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Hunter College.
