Valentin Caloean

Valentin Caloean has a work experience spanning from 2017 to the present. Valentin started working at Raytheon in January 2017 as a Software Engineer II in the Data Ingest Team. In this role, they supported the design, development, and testing of a custom Spring-based ETL product for ingesting large volumes of JSON and XML data from AWS. Valentin also performed load testing using Apache JMeter and used the ELK stack for collecting and visualizing system metrics. In February 2020, they moved to the Legacy Web Application Team as a Software Engineer II, where they created multiple web pages using Angular/Typescript and Java11 with Spring. Valentin was proactive in improving testing coverage and visibility and created tests using Junit and Cucumber. Valentin left Raytheon in March 2021. In March 2021, they joined Foureyes as a Software Engineer, and later in July 2022, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer.

Valentin Caloean completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at The University of Edinburgh from 2015 to 2016.
