Jason Hoffman-Bice

Jason Hoffman-Bice, Ph.D., currently serves as Co-Founder and CEO of Fourier since June 2022. Previously, Jason held the position of Research and Development Engineer at Marvel Fusion from November 2022 to December 2024. Academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2018 to May 2022 and at Purdue University from August 2015 to December 2017. Early career roles include a Mechanical Engineer Internship at Hydroswarm in early 2018 and an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the University of Florida from June 2013 to May 2015. Additional experience includes a Co-op Production Engineer role at Toyota in 2012 and service as an Operational Law Paralegal with the US Army from March 2006 to March 2012, achieving the rank of Sergeant/E-5. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, an MS in Materials Engineering from Purdue University, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and an Associate's degree in Engineering from Valencia College.
