Matt McCarthy

Matt McCarthy currently serves as the Director of Security and Quality at Foursquare, a position held since January 2019. Previously, Matt was the CTO/CISO and VP Engineering at Twiage, where work was done from May 2017 to December 2018. Prior to that, significant roles included Global Head of Development Practices at Thomson Reuters from April 2008 to November 2016, along with various development positions at Thomson Financial and other companies. Matt's career began in the late 1990s with roles such as Junior Engineer at Pitney Bowes and Programmer at Calibar. Education includes a focus in English from Central Connecticut State University and a college preparatory diploma from Xavier High School.
