Patrice Vekemans has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. They began their career in 1995 at AkzoNobel, where they served as Manager of Financial Planning & Reporting. In 2000, they joined Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings as Marketing Manager for Belgium Retail Brands, contributing to substantial growth in the market. They later became the Marketing Director for Europe Retail Brands at the same company and focused on stimulating growth across Europe.
In 2008, Patrice Vekemans joined Toyota Belgium as the Marketing Director for Toyota & Lexus, responsible for the complete marketing mix of these brands. They successfully executed viral and user-generated content campaigns, making a significant impact on Belgium's marketing landscape.
From 2013 to 2016, Patrice Vekemans served as the Toyota and Lexus Belux Retail Director at Inchcape plc, overseeing 10 automotive retail centers. They focused on improving customer service and profitability through performance management, people management, and selective investments.
In 2016, they transitioned to M2O as a Director, further expanding their leadership capabilities. Finally, in 2017, Patrice Vekemans joined Fovea IP as the Chief Commercial Officer, demonstrating their ability to drive commercial success.
Patrice Vekemans attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 1989 to 1994, studying Finance, General. In 2007, they completed an Executive Program in Organizational Leadership at Hult Ashridge. In 2003, they also completed an Executive Program in Brand Management at Harvard Business School.
