Celeste G. Smith

Celeste G. Smith is a multimedia journalist with extensive experience in news reporting and content creation. Currently working at FOX8 WGHP since May 2023, Celeste previously held positions at WWAY-TV, LLC and WGBC-TV Twin States News, where responsibilities included writing, shooting, and editing news stories, as well as independently generating content for broadcasts. Celeste's earlier roles also include serving as a facility manager and fitness assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an internship at Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Access Corporation, where training in television production was provided. Celeste holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earned in 2018.
