Dee Cortez

Dee Cortez is an accomplished meteorologist and broadcaster with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the media industry. Currently serving as the Weekend Night and Weekday Evening Meteorologist at FOX21/SOCO CW since October 2016, Dee has also been an On Air Fill-in for weather, traffic, and radio at The E.W. Scripps Company since November 2014. Previous roles include Weather On-air Fill-in at KSWT, Traffic Anchor at KOLD News 13, and Airborne Traffic Reporter at Metro Networks. Dee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Geoscience and Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Pima Community College. With a strong background in live reporting, audience engagement, and a proven track record of achieving high ratings, Dee Cortez continues to make a significant impact in the field of meteorology and broadcasting.
