Teck Chia has extensive work experience in operations and supply chain management. Teck began their career at The University of Texas - Pan American as a Business Counselor/Business/Economic Research Associate III from 1994 to 1997. Teck then worked at TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company as an Operations Analyst/Production Planner from 1997 to 1999, where they assisted the VP in integrating operation functions and optimizing production scheduling.
Teck Chia then joined Foxconn, where they held various roles over the years. Teck started as a Production Planner from 1999 to 2001, where they planned production and managed procurement and logistics. Teck then became a Global Product Fulfillment/Logistics Control Supervisor from 2001 to 2004, responsible for managing global demand fulfillment and writing the company's first US Customs Compliance Manual. From 2004 to 2006, they served as the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Manager, overseeing North America logistics and fulfillment.
Teck Chia's career at Foxconn continued with their role as Director of Operations & Global Supply Chain from 2006 to 2014, where they drove cost leadership, developed business strategies, optimized supply chain solutions, and synchronized operations across three operations. Teck then became the Director of Global Supply Chain & President of NA L from 2014 onwards, managing customer accounts, manufacturing sites, and products related to enterprise storage systems and consumer electronic home security control systems.
Teck Chia completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting at The University of Texas-Pan American from 1991 to 1994. Teck then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management at the same university from 1994 to 1996.
