Deputy Director, Technical Coordination of Partners at Foxtrot International

Owner of a Master in Mathematics from the University of Abidjan obtained in 1996 and a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the School of Mines and Geology of Polytechnic National Institute of Yamoussoukro obtained in 2000, Hamadou integrates Foxtrot International in 2001 after 6 months of internship in this company.

Thus, he began his career in the Exploitation Department as Onshore Chief Operator from 2001 to mid-2004. In this position, he acted as the Manager of Azito and Vridi gas plants and mainly ensures the quality and quantity of natural gas necessary to thermal power plants as per the PSC. Subsequently, he was Offshore Chief Operator and was responsible for the production and processing of hydrocarbons on the platform and their routing to the gas plants.

In the second half of 2005, he joined the Geosciences Department and immediately took part in the preparation of the exploration well Mahi-1, the first well of the Operator Foxtrot drilled in the same year. He remains in this Department for about ten years and he holds various positions until that of Exploration Manager. He closely worked with the drilling and reservoir departments and actively contributed to the drilling of about 15 wells including 3 discoveries and 10 development wells.

Since 2017, he is Deputy Director in charge of Technical Coordination of Partners. In this position, he was a major player in the negotiations of Foxtrot’s new assets CI-12 and CI-502, which were signed on January 8, 2018.

Hamadou is also Alumni of MDE Business School thanks to its participation in the Program for Leadership Development in 2018.
