David Alves

David Alves, PMP has extensive experience in various roles and industries. David is currently the Vice President of Information Technology at Foxx Life Sciences since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Strategic Information Group from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Principal Consultant at DJAlves Consulting.

David's longest tenure was at Polartec, LLC, where they worked from 2002 to 2019. David held the position of Director of Information Systems and was responsible for leading all areas of information technology within the company. During their time at Polartec, they successfully implemented comprehensive technology roadmaps, reduced operating budgets, and implemented various software systems and projects. David also managed staff, provided coaching, and achieved significant improvements in R&D workflow and product delivery.

Additionally, David worked at Town and Country Fine Jewelry Group from 1992 to 1996 as a Project Leader/Manager. David oversaw technical project tasks, improved document trading efficiency, and was recognized as a subject matter expert in project management methodologies and technical systems.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications including CISM Cert Prep: 4 Information Security Incident Management from LinkedIn, ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. The PMP certification was obtained in May 2019, while the CISM Cert Prep and ITIL Foundation Level certifications were obtained in October 2019 and June 2019 respectively.
