Amanda (Mandi) Bell is a Vice President in the Ferguson Partners Leadership Consulting group. Prior to joining the team, her work focused on assessing mid-level managers and senior executives, verifying assessment centers to select leaders in the energy sector, and designing culture initiatives for companies across various industries including energy, government, manufacturing and IT. Mandi’s approach to consulting combines cutting-edge organizational and social psychological research with an intimate understanding of business performance and economic principles. In her current role, she supports the team by advising organizations on succession planning; executive coaching; leadership training; organizational culture change; team effectiveness training; and executive assessments.
Mandi’s perspective on organizational dynamics is informed by nine years of research experience, emphasizing the trickle-down effects of leaders’ behavior on teams and organizations, as well as employee health and recovery from stress. She complements this research background with teaching experience at the collegiate level. She brings both academic content and practical skills when training leaders at various levels in their development.
Mandi completed her Master’s degree and PhD in I/O Psychology with a specialization in Quantitative Methods at Northern Illinois University. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Central College. When she’s not advising clients, Mandi enjoys traveling, competing in the equestrian discipline Dressage and creating new vegetarian dishes for her family.
