Patrick Balfour

Patrick Balfour is a Director at Ferguson Partners based in Hong Kong, where he executes searches across the real estate and infrastructure sectors in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Balfour specializes in sourcing and placing candidates for high-ranking leadership positions, including C-Suite, Board and management roles.

Mr. Balfour completed a multitude of mandates across three continents throughout his search career. Prior to joining Ferguson Partners in 2015, he served as Regional Head of Real Estate for a leading global recruitment firm, where he specialized in placing mid- to senior-level professionals across property developers, funds and real estate services firms. He previously specialized in recruiting finance professionals across the commercial and professional services sectors when he worked for two international FSTE-listed recruitment firms in Sydney and London.

Mr. Balfour was educated in the UK and holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Geography from Newcastle University. When he’s not working on a search, he enjoys golfing, playing rugby and, “like all good Scottish men,” playing the bagpipes.
