Nguyen Hoang Trung

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Trung (Thomas Nguyen) graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematic and MBA. He joined FPT since 1999 as a member of FPT Technology Center for Young Talents. From 2001, he joined FPT Software and held difference positions from Developer (2001-2002), Project Manager (2002-2004), Division Leader (2004-2006), from 2006 he has been relocated to Singapore to setup FPT office in Singapore as the Technical Director of the branch. From 2011 he has been appointed as Managing Director of FPT Software Singapore under FPT Software, and subsequently promoted to be CEO of FPT Asia Pacific under FPT Corporation from 2014. From 2016, he moved back to Vietnam to work as Program Director for FPT Corporation in 2016, and then Senior Executive Vice President of FPT Information System in 2017. From 2018, he comes back to FPT Software as CEO for Asia Pacific markets covering 11 legal entities in 8 countries.

Mr. Trung is widely known for outstanding growth in his territories, FPT Asia Pacific has increased revenue by 450% from 2011 to 2014 while he was CEO of the branch, and then it has increased profit 220% in 2018 when he came back. Mr. Trung has also received 1st class Archivement Medal from FPT Corporation for his outstanding contribution to the group in 2016.

Mr. Trung is also a Director, Member of the Board of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, member of SCS and SITF.
