Amna Mettmann

Amna Mettmann is an experienced operating partner currently at FPV Ventures, an early-stage fund co-founded by Wesley Chan and Pegah Ebrahimi, since March 2023. Previously, Mettmann held leadership roles in prominent companies, including serving as Director and Head of Business Strategy & Operations at Segment and Sendgrid from June 2020 to March 2023, and as Head of Growth Operations at ThriveCash, which transitioned into X1 Card, acquired by Robinhood. Mettmann's experience also includes being General Manager at Postmates Inc., where P&L responsibility was managed for two multi-million dollar verticals, and contributing to the launch of new markets and teams as part of Global Business Operations at HelloFresh. The early career included roles as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and a consultant at altis Human Resources, starting with a summer internship at Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation. Mettmann holds a degree in Data, Economics and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and studied at The University of British Columbia.
