Carla Plata Hernández

Carla Plata Hernández has over 6 years of experience in the field of immigration services. Carla began their career as a Practicante Vicepresidencia de Inversión, Gerencia ALEC at PROCOLOMBIA in 2014. Carla then worked as a Colombia Immigration Coordinator at Godoy Cordoba Abogados from 2015 to 2016, where they provided immigration strategies for international and local companies and coordinated visa scenarios for foreign employees.

In 2016, Carla joined Fragomen, where they held various roles. Carla started as a Colombia Immigration Coordinator, responsible for coordinating visa scenarios and working with teams globally for consular procedures. Carla then became the Peru Immigration Coordinator - Integrator, where they provided immigration advice for international companies in Peru and coordinated visa scenarios for foreign nationals. Next, Carla became the Andean Immigration Coordinator, leading the immigration processes from Bolivia, Ecuador, and Venezuela, and creating immigration strategies for clients. Carla then served as the Andean Senior Coordinator, guaranteeing compliance with service agreements and providing immigration strategies for international and local companies in the Andean region.

Carla then served as the Business Immigration Manager at Fragomen, where they led the Business Visas, Document Procurement team, and Colombia Immigration matters. Carla ensured the proper operation of services for clients and developed controls and policies to avoid future issues. Most recently, Carla held the position of Client Service Manager, where they managed key clients in the LATAM region, provided high-level immigration support, and supervised immigration work in the LATAM region.

Carla Plata Hernández's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019.
