Richard Smith

Richard Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Richard is currently serving as the Director at Linton Investments since June 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Finance Director at Fragrance Group London since January 2018. From October 2016 to January 2017, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Offshore at Hoover Ferguson. Before that, Richard was the Group Chief Executive Officer at Ferguson Group from October 2014 to October 2016. Richard also served as the Group Finance Director at Ferguson Group Ltd from December 2012 to October 2014. Richard has held various finance-related positions in different companies, including Greenspan Energy, ANM Group, Vion UK, LFG Holdings, and Grampian Country Foods. Their roles included Finance Director, CFO, and consultant.

Richard Smith completed a "Conversion course" in Australian Tax and Company Law at the University of Sydney in 2006. Earlier, they earned an LLB degree in Law from the University of Glasgow between 1976 and 1980. Additionally, they obtained a qualification as a Chartered Accountant from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs during the years 1981 to 1985.
