Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Frakton

Rilind Nuka's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Freelance Software Developer on various projects on different freelancing platforms. Rilind primarily focused on Java software development, including tasks such as development, testing, and integrations.

In 2018, Nuka became an Associate Founder at Dora2, where they contributed to the development and management of the project.

In 2019, Nuka joined Quantix LLC as a Software Developer, working on software development tasks. During the same year, they also worked as a Student Intern at Zombie Soup, where they played various roles such as Backend Engineer, Frontend Engineer, and Project Manager. Rilind worked on developing a platform using Java SpringBoot + Thymeleaf with a MySQL database, which aimed to register employees, track their work time and vacations, and support reports, notifications, and vacation requests.

Starting in 2020, Nuka assumed the role of Lead Software Engineer at Hajde, where they conceived and created the "Hajde" app, a carpooling application focused on reducing traffic in Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia.

In the same year, Nuka also became a Lecturer at BIT Academy, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students.

In 2021, Nuka joined OpenResearch as a Java Software Developer, contributing to software development tasks.

Most recently, in 2022, Nuka joined Frakton, part of Kin + Carta, as a Senior Java Developer. Rilind later took on the role of Senior Software Developer Team Lead, leading a team of software developers.

Throughout their career, Nuka has gained significant experience in software development, leadership, and project management.

Rilind Nuka attended Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 2015 to 2019, where they studied Application Development. During their time at the school, Rilind Nuka also served as a Student Representative on the Student Board.

In terms of additional certifications, Rilind Nuka obtained the following:

- In April 2017, they received a certification in SCRUM Best Practices from AXI.

- In February 2020, they obtained a certification in Amazon SageMaker: Simplifying Machine Learning Application Development from edX.

- In January 2022, they obtained a certification in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
