Karen Shanks

Karen Shanks has a diverse work experience in various roles. Karen started their career as a Gallery Assistant at Tennessee Technological University, overseeing the handling and movement of artwork within the gallery. Karen then worked as an Event Director at Art Round Tennessee, responsible for planning and logistics for ART Prowl.

Karen also worked at the Appalachian Center For Crafts, where they served as an Assistant for Promotions and Events, designing and distributing promotional materials and coordinating exhibition programs. Karen also worked as an Exhibitions Preparator, overseeing the handling and movement of artwork within the Craft Center galleries.

Karen later joined Wilcro Inc as a Design Coordinator, managing daily operations and setting production expectations for the team. Karen then worked at Chewy as an Artist, producing custom paintings and ensuring quality assurance.

In 2019, Karen joined Framebridge and held several roles, including Part-Time Design Consultant, Design Consultant, Assistant Store Manager, and Store Manager. In these positions, they provided exceptional customer service, offered expert design advice, and managed store operations.

Currently, Karen works at Framebridge as a CX Gallery Wall Designer, where they assist customers with custom gallery wall designs and creating personalized hanging guide layouts.

Karen Shanks holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Painting, which they obtained from Tennessee Technological University from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Roane State Community College from 2009 to 2010. In 2022, Karen Shanks also obtained a certification called "Academy | New Agent / Customer Service Hero" from Gladly.
