Thomas Wiard

Thomas Wiard is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in broadcast and IT support. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer at France Médias Monde since 2019, Thomas focuses on maintenance and support for radio, TV, and IT systems. Prior roles include technical manager at France 24 from 2012 to 2019 and technical broadcast consultant from 2009 to 2012, where project management and the improvement of synergies between engineering and maintenance were key responsibilities. Thomas also held positions as broadcast manager/project manager at Radio France, overseeing various signal transport networks, and as project manager and software engineer at France 3, where contributions included developing a system for video news package sharing and programming for terrestrial transmitters. Thomas holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur from EPSI - L'école d'ingénierie informatique.
