Olivier Bianchi has extensive experience in public administration and cultural leadership, currently serving as the Maire of Clermont-Ferrand since March 2014 and as Co-président of the Commission culture for both France urbaine and the Association des Maires de Grandes Villes de France since 2015 and 2014, respectively. Bianchi has been active in Clermont Auvergne Métropole since 2008, holding the positions of Président and Vice-président. Additionally, Bianchi has served as Trésorier for the Fédération Nationale des Agences d’Urbanisme since 2014. Previous roles include Adjoint à la culture and Conseiller Municipal délégué à la jeunesse in Clermont-Ferrand from 1995 to 2014. Bianchi's early leadership experience includes serving as Président of UNEF - Union Nationale des Étudiants de France during 1993-1994. Academic credentials include a Master in Droit public and a DEA in Sciences politiques from Université Clermont Auvergne.
