Michael Hoey

Michael Hoey has a wide range of experience in the medical and business sectors. Michael is currently the Founder, Director, President, and CTO of Francis Medical since April 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a General Partner at Solas BioVentures starting in 2017. Michael also served as a Board Member at both Front Line Medical Technologies Inc. and Morari in 2018 and 2017 respectively. Michael has been involved in founding and directing companies such as AEGEA Medical, Inc., NxThera, and Uptake Medical. Michael held various roles including CEO, President, and Inventor during their tenure. Additionally, Michael has served as the Chairman of the Executive Board at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union from 2007 to 2009 and worked as a Professor at Hamline University in 2007. Michael has proven expertise and extensive experience in their field.

Michael Hoey has pursued a PhD in Physiology at the University of Minnesota. Michael has also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Natural Sciences from Saint John's University.
