A.j. Martelli

A.J. Martelli is a skilled communications specialist currently working with the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement since December 2021, following a career as a sports reporter for Poughkeepsie Journal Media and Examiner Media. With experience covering local high school sports, A.J. is adept at interviewing athletes and coaches, submitting work under tight deadlines, and engaging with community sports. Previous roles include freelance writing for North County News and an internship with the Hudson Valley Renegades, which focused on promotions, ticketing, and customer service. A.J. holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Mercy University, earned in 2010.
