Chris Bell

Chris Bell currently serves as Vice President of Geology at Franco-Nevada Corporation, a position held since December 2019. Prior experience includes roles at B2Gold Corp. as Chief Geologist for West Africa and Regional Exploration Geologist for West Africa from July 2016 to November 2019, and at Dundee Precious Metals Inc. as Consulting Geologist from March 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, Chris held the position of Acting Exploration Manager at Oyu Tolgoi LLC from April 2011 to November 2012, and various roles at Ivanhoe Mines from July 2004 to April 2011, including Exploration Manager, Senior Geologist, and Project Geologist. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Honours in Structural Economic Geology, as well as a BSc in Geology, all obtained from James Cook University between 1995 and 2004.
