Matt Shade

Matt Shade currently serves as the Geographic Information System Director and previously held the title of GIS Manager at Franklin County Auditor since March 2019. With extensive experience in GIS, Shade's career includes roles such as GIS Manager at PRIME AE Group, Inc. and GIMS Specialist at Ohio EPA, along with significant contributions as a GIS Analyst and Election Operations Clerk at Franklin County. As a board member of the Ohio Chapter of URISA from May 2010 to September 2019, Shade supported the growth and development of GIS professionals in Ohio. Additional experience includes work as a GIS Developer/Analyst at CH2M HILL and a GIS Specialist at Ardaman & Associates, focusing on technical support for utilities and floodplain studies. Shade's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in GIS from The Ohio State University.
