Mark Powers

Mark Powers has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Franklin IQ since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cobalt Robotics, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Maintenance from March 2023 to October 2023, and as the Vice President of Operations and Maintenance from October 2022 to April 2023. Mark also held the role of Director of Operations & Maintenance at Cobalt Robotics from March 2022 to October 2022. At Microsoft, Mark worked as a Senior Product Manager from September 2019 to March 2022, leading teams and managing programs of significant value. Before that, they were with McKinsey & Company as a Senior Associate, advising CEOs and CIOs from April 2018 to January 2019, and as an Associate from August 2016 to March 2018. Mark is a Harvard Business School MBA Graduate from 2014 to 2016. Mark had an internship as an MBA Intern at Google in 2015. Mark began their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Marine Corps Intelligence Officer from 2006 to 2014.

Mark Powers has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ocean Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Mark also attended the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2005 for Engineering. Furthermore, Mark has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Harvard Business School.

In terms of certifications, Mark has obtained the following: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2021, Workplace Analytics Expert Practitioner from Microsoft in 2020, Workplace Analytics Practitioner from Microsoft in 2020, Workplace Analytics Specialist from Microsoft in 2020, Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in December 2017, and the USPA B License from the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA).
