Stuart Trachy

Stuart Trachy is a seasoned public servant and consultant with extensive experience in government and leadership roles. Currently serving as Merrimack County Commissioner since January 2020, Trachy also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Franklin Savings Bank since December 2018. As a Principal and Government Affairs Consultant, Trachy has been active since 1985. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board of Trustees at LRGHealthcare from April 2011 to April 2013, Treasurer for the County of Merrimack from January 2001 to January 2007, and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Merrimack County from January 1993 to January 2001. Trachy served as Mayor of the City of Franklin, NH, from January 1980 to January 1982, and as a State Representative in New Hampshire from 1976 to 1982. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Saint Anselm College.
