Sikander Hayat is a highly experienced computational biologist and data scientist currently serving as the Group Leader for Translational Data Science at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, where a team specializes in single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and machine learning to discover insights into cardiac and renal diseases. As a co-founder of Sequantrix GmbH, Sikander focuses on innovative antifibrotic target discovery using extensive single-cell datasets. Previous roles include a Bayer Science Fellow, leading single-cell transcriptomics analyses, and conducting pivotal research at institutions such as the Broad Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
