Emily Skolsky is a Learning Specialist at Fraser Academy, where Emily provides one-to-one remedial instruction using the Orton-Gillingham approach to students with language-based learning differences. Emily develops lessons to improve literacy, executive functioning, and cognitive processing skills. Emily reviews psycho-educational assessments, writes Individual Education Plans, and mentors new teachers. Emily is currently a Fellow-in-Training at the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Emily has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Education from The University of British Columbia. Emily is currently pursuing a Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary.
