Martin Maga has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Martin currently works at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as the Team Lead of the Data Insights Team at the Transformation Innovation Center. Prior to this, they were a Scientist at Transfer Research Incubator and also worked at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft as a Scientist in the Team Open Science and the Competence Center Research Services and Open Science. Before joining Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Martin worked as a Research Assistant and Tutor at the University of Stuttgart, where they conducted scientific research, contributed to scientific books and articles, and gave tutorials in various subjects. Martin also had an internship at agora42, the philosophical economics magazine. Additionally, they worked as a Personal Assistant for severely disabled individuals at the Individual Assistance Society in Heidelberg.
Martin Maga attended secondary school (Realschule) in Heidelberg, Germany from 1997 to 2004 and obtained their Secondary school certificate (Mittlere Reife). Martin then attended a Biotechnology high school (Gymnasium) in Heidelberg, Germany from 2004 to 2007 and earned their A-levels (Abitur). Following that, they engaged in community service, civil service (Zivildienst) in Heidelberg, Germany from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they started studying Mathematics and computer science (informatics) at Heidelberg University, but did not obtain a degree. Martin later enrolled at the University of Stuttgart from 2010 to 2015 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy. Martin continued their education at the University of Stuttgart and obtained their Master of Arts (MA) in Philosophy from 2015 to 2019.
