Amanda Hunter has over 27 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Amanda has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career, specializing in HR operations, systems, and programs. Amanda's most recent role was as a Human Resources Generalist at Frazier Industrial Company. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at CpK Interior Products and nVent Thermal Management. Amanda also worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at HEXO Corp. In addition, Amanda has extensive experience as a Human Resources Generalist and HRBP at Pentair and nVent. Before that, they were a Human Resources Compliance/Payroll Manager at Cam Tran Co. Ltd. Amanda began their career at Hudson's Bay Company, where they held multiple roles, including Human Resources Manager, Administrator, and Customer Service. Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated their ability to recruit employees, create HR policies and procedures, update group benefits, manage HR operations and databases, and foster positive relationships with unions.

Amanda Hunter, PCP, has a diverse education history. Amanda attended Loyalist College from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a CHRP degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies. Prior to this, from 1996 to 2000, they studied at York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Dance. In addition, Amanda also received a PCP Certification in Payroll Compliance from the Canadian Payroll Association in 2015-2016.

Apart from their formal education, Amanda has obtained several additional certifications. Amanda completed First Aid - Level A CPR / AED training from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in November 2021. In January 2015, they became a Payroll Certified Practioner (PCP) through The Canadian Payroll Association. Furthermore, in April 2006, Amanda obtained Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification, adhering to the 1996 JHSC Certification Training Standards, from the Ministry of Labour.
